Rokok Punya Aturan

Berbicara tentang rokok pastilah tidak ada habisnya dengan kenegatifan dari rokok itu sendiri. Setiap membahas rokok pasti berbicara tentang kenegatifan dari rokok tersebut.

Inilah beberapa efek negative dari merokok:

Otak

Merokok bisa meningkatkan risiko terkena stroke sebesar 50 persen. Hal tersebut bisamenyebabkan kerusakan otak dan kematian. Merokok juga dapat meningkatkan risikomengalami aneurisma otak. Aneurisma otak adalah pembengkakan pembuluh darahyang terjadi akibat melemahnya dinding pembuluh darah. Sewaktu-waktu bisa pecahdan mengakibatkan pendarahan di otak.

Mulut dan Tenggorokan

Bau mulut dan gigi bernoda merupakan efek yang akan timbul akibat merokok. Penyakit gusi dan kerusakan indera perasa pun dapattimbul. Masalah serius yang akan hinggap pada mulut dan tenggorokan adalahmeningkatnya risiko kanker pada lidah, tenggorokan, bibir, dan pita suara.

Paru-paru

Salah satu efek paling berbahaya akibat merokok adalah kanker paru-paru. Bahan-bahankimia pada rokok berpotensi merusak sel-sel pada paru-paru yang bisa membentuksel kanker. Penyakit serius lainnya yang bisa Anda alami adalah bronkitis,pneumonia, dan emfisema.

Lambung

Merokok bisa melemahkan otot yang mengontrol bagian bawah kerongkongan Anda. Hal tersebut memungkinkan asam dari lambung bergerak ke arah yang salah, yaitu ke kerongkongan. Kondisi tersebut dinamakan penyakit asam lambung. Beberapa risiko penyakit yang akan dihadapi oleh seorang perokokadalah ulkus atau tukak dan kanker lambung.

Tulang

Racun pada rokok bisa merusak tulang dengan cara menghentikan kerja sel-selkonstruksi. Oleh sebab itu, perokok lebih berisiko mengalami tulang rapuh atauosteoporosis. Racun rokok juga bisa mengganggu keseimbangan hormon-hormon yangbertugas menjaga tulang tetap kuat, seperti hormon estrogen.

Kulit

Perokok akan terlihat lebih tua ketimbang yang bukan perokok karena kurangnya asupan oksigen ke kulit. Penuaan dini akan dirasakan, seperti kemunculan kerutan di sekitar mata dan mulut. Racun rokok juga bisa menyebabkan selulit pada kulit.

Organ Reproduksi

Merokok bisa mengganggu sistem reproduksi dan kesuburan Anda. Padapria, merokok bisa menyebabkan impotensi, mengurangi produksi sperma, dan kanker testis.Sementara pada wanita, merokok dapat mengurangi kesuburan. Selain itu, risiko terkena kanker serviks pun lebihtinggi karena rokok mengurangi kemampuan alami tubuh dalam melawan infeksi human papillomavirus atau HPV.
